Class Schedule

This next 13 week cycle is called 'Base Line'. In this cycle we are going to be setting base lines in hopes of creating a great foundation for all of our strength, gymnastics and cardio movements. We're also going to be working on movement patterns to create the best form possible especially with our back squat, strict press and deadlifts. You'll also see that we've opened up the calendar so you are able to see all the WODs that have been put in for the week. That way everyone can plan accordingly when it comes to shoe choices.

Starting this week our strength work will move from an eccentric to an Isometric. Isometric is holding our lifts in a pause position which gives us the opportunity to brace properly when in the main part of our lift. We will be holding for a total for 4 seconds before firing through and finishing the lift.

Olympic lifting: Focus this week is again on keep arms relaxed, keeping the bar close to the body and that lovely shrug and under. Percentages go up a bit so keep making sure you are recovering well.

Also our cameras and door knob are in for those athletes interested in open gym. This will be an additional $25 fee per month which includes access to the gym while classes are not in session. If you are interested please message coach shayla so she can get you set up.
